Success Insights (DISC) Profile
The DISC measures four dimensions of behavior:
Dominance – how we respond to challenges
Influence – how we influence others to our point of view
Steadiness – the pace we prefer to work
Compliance – how we respond to rules and procedures set by others
The DISC is used for individual coaching as well as team building. It is administered on-line and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. We find this tool works remarkably well globally and have used it extensively in China and in Europe. Global use is made even easier by the instrument’s availability in multiple languages.
The NEO-PI-R(TM) is a personality instrument which measures the Big Five personality traits of Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism, and Openness to Experience.We use this 240-item inventory particularly in individual coaching situations.
Styles of Influence (SOI)
The SOI provides a measurement of how we will act. It surveys four key behavior characteristics. (Cognitive (ideas), Relational (emotions), Goals (forcefulness), and Detail (order). These characteristics provide a baseline of behavioral drives that tend to show themselves whenever we engage with, or attempt to influence others. The SOI is useful for both individual learning and growth as well as for team understanding and enhanced communication.
